Contents, comment

This course will cover all of the important English skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Students will watch various videos and read various texts and engage with various other media, with weekly writing and speaking assignments.
- This course will prepare students for B2 level speaking courses and basic course work involving English.

Requirements for participation, required level

One of the following three possible ways to qualify for the course:
1) get a "B1 Level" on the C-Test in English, for information on the C-test see http://www.uni-bielefeld.de/fachsprachenzentrum/tests_and_certs/placement.html
OR 2) Successful completion of an A2-rated English course

  • Pronunciation/ speaking assignments to practice throughout the semester.
  • One writing assignment is required, describing an experience you had... which will be used as a speaking project during a class
