SAID (*1947, Teheran) ist einer der Autoren der deutschen Gegenwartsliteratur. Er wurde im Iran geboren, kam 1965 nach Deutschenland und beschloss später hier zu bleiben. In Deutschland begann er zu schreiben und literarisch produktiv zu sein. Als seine Literatursprache wählte er das Deutsche, das er in seinem Werk als gastlich bezeichnet und als seine Heimat auffasst. Sein Werk ist vieldimensional: von Liebesgeschichten über politische Geschichten bis hin zu Lyrik und Kinderbüchern. Das Seminar setzt sich zum Ziel, zunächst einen Einblick in Werk und Leben SAIDs zu geben. Sodann widemt es sich seinem Werk mit dem Ziel, Aspekte, Motive, Themen sowie ästhetische Merkmale herauszuarbeiten und vor allem intertextuelle Bezüge herzustellen.

Grundkenntnisse literarischer Analyseverfahren in Lyrik und Prosa werden zur Teilnahme am Seminar vorausgesetzt. Eine Liste der Primär- und Sekundärliteratur wird rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben.

Eine benotete Leistung wird durch die aktive Teilnahme (Diskussionen im Unterricht) am Seminar, kurze Impulsreferate und eine schriftliche Hausarbeit erzielt.
Eine unbenotete Studienleistung kann durch aktive Teilnamhe, Impulsreferate und einen Essay in einem Umfang von 1000 Wörtern erzielt werden.
