Das Seminar will am Beispiel ausgewählter Erzählungen einen Überblick über die deutschsprachige Literatur des 20. Jahrhunderts bieten. Bei der gemeinsamen Lektüre und Interpretation exemplarischer Text kommt dabei neben den literarischen Veränderungen auch die wechselvolle gesellschaftliche und politische Geschichte Deutschlands zur Sprache. Zugleich soll die Analyse narrativer Texte geübt werden unter Berücksichtigung der Grundbegriffe aktueller Erzähltheorien.
