Este seminario pretende ofrecerle a la/el estudiante un acercamiento a la diversidad temática y estilística de la cinematografía española de la democracia, una de las de mayor proyección internacional de Europa.
Para ello empezaremos presentando las principales publicaciones sobre cine en España, tanto libros como revistas. Tras esto, repasaremos la cinematografía española durante la transición de la dictadura a la democracia, para comprender así los problemas a los que se ha enfrentado el cine español desde comienzos de los 80. Y en tercer lugar se ofrecerán algunas nociones básicas sobre técnicas cinematográficas.
El segundo bloque del seminario, el más importante, consistirá en el visionado de películas de algunos de los cineastas más representativos de los últimos años (Pedro Almodóvar, Alex de la Iglesia, etc) y en su posterior análisis.
Para las/los estudiantes de BA este seminario equivale a Medios de comunicación: historia y actualidad, dentro del Profil Modul IV: Teoría e historia de los medios de comunicación. Podrán obtener hasta 5 créditos, según el siguiente criterio:
- 2 créditos por presencia y participación activa, a partir de un mínimo imprescindible del 80% de asistencia,
- 1 crédito por una exposición en clase,
- y 2 por un trabajo escrito.
El tema de la exposición y el del trabajo será a convenir con el docente.
