This module exam covers all courses of the BM3 module: a) Introduction to Linguistics I, b) Introduction to Linguistics II, and c) Second Language Acquisition. The BM3 exam is a 90-minute long written and graded exam, consisting of several closed and open questions relating to all contents of the module. To pass the exam, you will need to achieve a passing grade (i.e. at least a 4,0) by achieving at least 50% of the total points. The exam will be offered twice each semester.
Please note that this exam will be held in presence in a lecture hall and there is currently no digital way of completing this exam!

If you want to take part in the exam, please save the respective exam in your eKVV schedule - you will then be informed about further organizational details a few weeks before the exam date. If you have any questions, please contact Frederic Zähres by emailing him directly or sending an email to bm3_exam@uni-bielefeld.de.

NOTE: This exam is only valid for the "old" BM3 of the FsB from 2017 or earlier. The "new" module called Basis3 (of the new FsB from 2022) does not have a final written module exam.

Requirements for participation, required level

All courses of the BM3 module should have been completed before participating in the exam! If you have not yet obtained all SLs for the BM3 module before taking the exam, the module grade will not show up in your transcript.
