Der Parzival des Wolfram von Eschenbach, eines der prominentesten Werke der Weltliteratur, läßt sich schon aufgrund des Umfangs, aber vor allem auch wegen seiner vielfältigen Sinnbezüge in einem Semester nicht erschöpfend behandeln. In diesem Seminar sollen deshalb nur ausgewählte Kapitel des Romans gemeinsam gelesen, übersetzt und diskutiert werden. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft der Studierenden, sich den Text im mittelhochdeutschen Original zu erschließen. Jeder sollte deshalb bereits zu Beginn des Semesters eine vollständige Ausgabe des Parzival (z.B. Reclam 3681/3682) zur Hand haben.
