Die Theologie Schleiermachers ist das wichtigste Gründungsdokument des Neuprotestantismus. Die aufklärerische Kritik an der alten Dogmatik wird hier verknüpft mit dem auf dem Religionsbegriff aufbauenden neuen Entwurf einer modernen Glaubenslehre. Die Christologie der Glaubenslehre Schleiermachers bildet das eigentliche Zentrum der ganzen Dogmatik, in ihr bündeln sich Geschichtsanschauung, Sozialphilosophie, Religionstheorie und Existenzverständnis. Im Seminar soll die Entwicklung von Schleiermachers Christologie anhand der wichtigsten Texte verfolgt werden.
