Im Jahr 2011 wird in Jamaica, die Ökumenische Friedenskonvokation stattfinden , die auf der IX. Vollversammlung in Porto Alegre /Brasilien 2006 beschlossen wurde. Die Konvokation ist einerseits der Abschluss der weltweiten Dekade der Kirchen zur Überwindung der Gewalt, andererseits aber auch Ausdruck langzeitigen Bemühens in der ökumenischen Bewegung, dem biblischen Friedensauftrag nachzukommmen. Von der Bemühung der Verhinderung des 1. Weltkrieges, bis zur heutigen Suche nach einem “gerechten Frieden”, haben die Kirchen in der ökumenischen Bewegung viele Stufen durchlaufen, mit denen das Seminar sich auseinandersetzen wird.

Bereitschaft zur Mitarbeit im Seminar und regelmäßige Teilnahme. Englischkenntnisse werden vorausgesetzt.
Wünschenswert: Kenntnisse in systematischer Theologie, Friedensfragen
