Die Veranstaltung setzt sich mit der Konzeptualisierung des weltpolitischen Systems in verschiedenen Theoriebildungen der Politikwissenschaft bzw. den Internationalen Beziehungen und der Soziologie auseinander.
Dabei geht es insbesondere auch um die Verbindung von Weltgesellschaftstheorien in der Soziologie und Politikwissenschaft mit aktuellen Fragestellungen der internationalen Politik.

Requirements for participation, required level

Gute Vorkenntnisse in Theorien internationaler Beziehungen sowie in Theorien von Globalisierung/Global Governance/Weltgesellschaftstheorien sind unbedingt erforderlich; ebenfalls gute Englischkenntnisse.
