This seminar focuses on the intricacies of and techniques for critical reading. We will analyse writers´ & readers´ perspectives, study how to recognize and articulate arguments, and consider textual openness and indeterminacy and other crucial aspects of literary production and interpretation.
For those of you who would like a head start on the reading material, we will be discussing Toni Morrison´s Beloved and Charlotte Perkins Gilman´s The Yellow Wallpaper.
