241014 Zufallsmatrizen (VÜA) (SoSe 2014)

Diese Veranstaltung bildet den 2. Teil einer Masterkurs-Sequenz,
die im Wintersemester 2013/2014 mit der vierstündigen Vorlesung
"Zufallsmatrizen" angefangen hat.

Es sollen ausgewählte Kapitel aus der Theorie der Zufallsmatrizen
behandelt werden. In Abstimmung mit den Zuhörern/innen
wären z.B. die folgenden Themen denkbar:
- Konzentrationsungleichungen
- Zentrale Grenzwertsätze
- Universalität
- Dyson's Brown'sche Bewegung
- Einführung in die freie Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie

Die Vorlesung richtet sich an Studierende, die eine Masterarbeit
im Bereich Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie in Erwägung ziehen.
