230227 Verschieden sein anders erforschen – Aktuelle Perspektiven der Gender Studies (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Im Seminar lesen und diskutieren wir aktuelle theoretische Texte der Gender Studies im interdisziplinären Spannungsfeld von Sozial-, Kultur- und Literaturwissenschaft. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden innovative Forschungsmethoden, mit denen sich Materialität und Vielfalt der Bedeutungen von Geschlecht bzw. die Konstruktion und Verfestigung der Kategorie in Wechselwirkung mit anderen historischen Kategorien wie z.B. Klasse, Ethnizität, Alter und Religion untersuchen lassen. Im Rahmen des Seminars besteht zusätzlich die Möglichkeit, aktuelle Forschungsvorhaben (Master-Arbeiten, Dissertationen) vorzustellen und gemeinsam zu diskutieren.
