This is the tutorial for the lecture 230489 Analysing and Interpreting Literary Texts: US American Literatures. On the one hand, this is where you can ask any questions that might come up during the semester regarding the lecture or your studies in general. On the other hand, we will repeat and apply contents from the lecture to practice your analyzing and interpreting skills. Also, and very importantly for the rest of your studies, we will cover all the necessary steps and processes that you will go through when writing your term paper, give valuable tips and tricks, and workshop your topics and thesis statements. Attendance is not mandatory as this tutorial is mainly a ressource for those of you who need or want more practice with analyzing, interpreting, and writing, or general help with any struggles you personally might encounter with the topics of the lecture. However, experience of the last semesters has shown that students who regularly attend the tutorial tend to be far better prepared when it comes to developing a topic for and writing their term paper.
