Inhalt:
Nach dem Aufstieg und zunehmender Wertschätzung einer evidenz-basierenden Medizin seit den späten 1990er Jahren ist in letzter Zeit – schon vor, aber auch in der Pandemie – eine Abkehr von diesem Konzept zu verzeichnen. Dies betrifft sowohl die medizinische Praxis und Forschung als auch gesundheitspolitische Entscheidungen. Als ein besonders krasses Beispiel kann der Entwurf für ein sogenanntes „Gesundes Herz Gesetz“ gelten. Der Vortrag zeichnet die Entwicklung nach und versucht, die Frage zu beantworten, welche Rolle EbM in einem modernen Gesundheitssystem spielen kann und spielen sollte.
