Freundschaft, Liebe, Partnerschaft, Sexualität, Kinderwunsch- das sind Bedürfnisse, die viele Menschen haben, auch Menschen mit einer geistigen Behinderung. Die aktuellen Diskussionen in der Behindertenhilfe führen auch zu einer veränderten Sichtweise auf diese speziellen Themen. Was sagen eigentlich die UN- Behindertenrechtskonventionen dazu? Hat das aktuelle Thema Inklusion einen Einfluss?
Eine selbstbestimmte Partnerschaft und Sexualität ist für viele Menschen mit Behinderung nach wie vor mit Hindernissen verbunden aufgrund der Strukturen in den Einrichtungen, Vorurteile, mangelnde Aufklärung, Überbehütung etc..
In diesem Seminar wollen wir die Neuorientierungen in der Behindertenhilfe auf die genannten Themen hin untersuchen und den aktuellen Forschungsstand vorstellen. Weitere Themen werden sexualisierte Gewalt sein, die Entwicklungen der letzten Jahrzehnte sowie die Diskussion über neue medizinische Untersuchungsformen in der Embryonalforschung.
