Diskurse allerorten und selten Klarheit, was damit gemeint ist: So läßt sich der Gebrauch des Begriffs "Diskurs" unter Historikern kennzeichnen. Wer sich größere Klarheit verschaffen will, ist eingeladen, im Rahmen dieses Kurses einige grundlegende theoretische Texte zu besprechen. Um die Chancen der Diskursgeschichte in der Frühneuzeitforschung auszuloten, werden wir außerdem zentrale Passagen aus einschlägigen empirischen Studien diskutieren. Das setzt die Bereitschaft voraus, sich von Woche zu Woche mit einem anspruchsvollen Text auseinanderzusetzen
