Diese Lehrveranstaltung befasst sich mit internationalen Aspekten des Gesundheitssystemvergleichs und der Gesundheitspolitik. Die Studierenden sollen
- Konzepte, Methoden, Theorien und Modelle des internationalen Gesundheitssystemvergleichs kennenlernen
- Charakteristika ausgewählter Gesundheitssysteme in Europa kennenlernen, insbesondere
- das Versorgungssystem,
- das Finanzierungssystem,
- das Regulierungssystem,
- die Probleme, die sich auf diesen Feldern jeweils stellen,
- die Richtung des Wandels von Gesundheitssystemen und dafür relevante Einflussfaktoren;
- lernen, die im ersten Semester vermittelten Strukturen und Probleme des deutschen Gesundheitssystems und der deutschen Gesundheitspolitik im internationalen Gesundheitssystemvergleich zu verorten;
- Merkmale des deutschen Gesundheitssystems und ausgewählter anderer Gesundheitssysteme im Hinblick auf ihre Stärken und Schwächen beurteilen lernen;
- die Rolle ausgewählter Institutionen der internationalen Gesundheitspolitik (z.B. der Europäischen Union und der Weltgesundheitsorganisation) für die internationale Gesundheitssystementwicklung und deren Rückwirkungen auf Deutschland beschreiben und analysieren können.

Die Prüfungsleistung besteht in der Anfertigung einer Hausarbeit. Die Studierenden, die in dieser Lehrveranstaltung ihre Modulprüfung ablegen wollen, erhalten am 30.06.2023 das Thema für ihre Prüfungsleistung. Die Hausarbeit ist bis einschl. 18.08.2023 einzureichen.
Die Studienleistung besteht aus einem mündlichen Referat (in der Regel im Rahmen eines Gruppenreferats) und in der schriftlichen Bearbeitung einer Übungsaufgabe (Einzelaufgabe).
