Spätestens seit Ende 2022 mit dem Aufkommen von ChatGPT ist der Begriff künstliche Intelligenz (KI) sowohl aus dem Alltag als auch aus der medialen Berichterstattung nicht mehr wegzudenken. In diesem Seminar widmen wir uns der Frage, wie (kollektive) Einstellungen zur KI in den Medien (Massenmedien und soziale Medien) sprachlich konstruiert werden. Darüber hinaus werden wir anhand von Fallstudien die Anwendungsfelder der KI in verschiedenen Bereichen und den Einfluss technischer Systeme, deren Interaktionsverhalten mit KI gesteuert ist, wie beispielsweise Chatbots oder Sprachdialogsysteme wie Siri und Alexa auf die Interaktion diskutieren.
