Wir wollen uns im Seminar gemeinsam einige Texte der österreichische, Literatur des 20. Jahrhunderts diskutieren. Die ausgewählten Texte Aichingers, Bachmanns, Jelineks, Bernhards und anderen sollen einen Einblick in ganz verschiedene Schreibformen, Motive und Themen der österreichischen Gegenwartsliteratur geben. Seminarfragen könnten sein: Inwiefern sind die Texte politisch? Wie wird erzählt? Was wird erzählt? Wie setzen sich die Texte mit Heimatkonzepten auseinander? usw.
Es handelt sich um ein Lektüreseminar, bei dem die Texte ganz (!) gelesen werden müssen. Wer an dem Seminar teilnehmen möchte, muss also bereit sein, im Semester 1000-1500 Seiten Primärliteratur zu lesen (es lohnt sich aber - versprochen!).
