During this course you will get to know the basic principles of teaching English in primary school. We will deal with the theoretical background of heterogeneity, the historical development of English lessons in primary school and different possibilities and concepts for individualised learning.
We will take a deep look at the current version of the curriculum and learn how to plan a unit for English lessons. Throughout the whole seminar we will actively try out several methods, games and rituals to use in the EFL primary school classroom.
