Am Beispiel ausgewählter Gedichte der Romantik soll in diesem Seminar in die literaturwissenschaftliche Textanalyse und -interpretation eingeführt werden. Textgrundlage ist der Sammelband Klassik und Romantik aus der im Reclam Verlag erschienenen Reihe Gedichte und Interpretationen. Die dort enthaltenen kurzen exemplarische Gedichtanalysen zeigen die Vielfalt der möglichen Herangehensweisen.
Die Analyse von Gedichten ist ohne Kenntnis der spezifisch lyrischen Klang- Wort- Bild- Satz- und Versformen nicht möglich. Die Vermittlung dieser Kenntnisse ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Seminars.

Voraussetzung für die Bescheinigung der aktiven Teilnahme ist neben der regelmäßigen Anwesenheit die aktive Mitarbeit, i.e. jede/r Studierende muss im Laufe des Semesters einige kleinere schriftliche und/oder mündliche Aufgaben übernehmen. Ein benoteter Einzelleistungsnachweis kann nur durch eine schriftliche Hausarbeit oder ein längeres Referat erworben werden.
Die Modulprüfung wird in Form einer 90 minütigen Klausur im Seminar "Einführung in die literaturwissenschaftliche Textanalyse" erbracht.
