Das Seminar wendet sich den zentralen Ideen und Kategorien der chinesischen Philosophie, insbesondere des Konfuzianismus, zu. Anhand der Lektüre ausgewählter Texte gehen wir der Frage nach, ob es so etwas wie eine „chinesische Philosophie“ überhaupt gibt, welchen Einfluss sie hat und welche Konzepte und Begriffe (Riten, Sitten, der Edle, die Bedeutung der kindlichen Liebe, das Verhältnis von Lernen und Regieren) im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Folgende Texte werden behandelt:
Lun-Yü, Gia-Yü: Schulgespräch des Konfuzius; Mengzi: Die Lehrgespräche des Meisters Meng K’o: Li Gi: Das Buch der Riten, Sitten und Gebräuche (Kap. 1 und 2).

Ass. Prof. Dr. Wu Yongli lehrt Germanistik an der Fudan Universität Shanghai, eine der besten chinesischen Universitäten. Er nimmt im Sommer 2012 auf Einladung der Universität Bielefeld eine Gastdozentur wahr.Weitere Informationen bei:
