Beschreibung
In der Vorlesung wird das methodische Instrumentarium der modernen Ökonometrie aufbauend auf Ihre Kenntnisse aus "Einführung in die Ökonometrie" konsequent erweitert. Zuerst erfolgt eine kurze Wiederholung und Vertiefung der Kleinst-Quadrate Methode. Dann werden die Grundlagen der Maximum-Likelihood basierten Schätz- und Testverfahren besprochen. Anschliessend erfolgt eine Einführung in die Methode der Quantilsregression. In einer empirischen Fallstudie wird die Anwendung dieser Methoden mit geeigneter Software - z.B. R (http://www.r-project.org/) - studiert.

Prüfung
60-minütige Klausur am Semesterende.

Vorausgesetzt werden die Kenntnisse aus Statistik I/II und Einführung in die Ökonometrie.
