In der Lehrveranstaltung soll anhand aktueller Zeitschriftenartikel der gegenwärtige Forschungsstand zu zentralen Themen der Entwicklungspsychologie (vor allem bezogen auf die soziale und kognitive Entwicklung) aufgearbeitet werden. Die Zeitschriftenartikel sollen auf vorhandene Lehrbuchtexte bezogen werden, mit Hilfe derer die jeweils vorangegangene Forschungstradition aufgearbeitet werden soll. Darüber hinaus sollen mögliche Implikationen für die weitere Forschungsarbeit sowie methodische Unzulänglichkeiten der genutzten Forschungsansätze diskutiert werden.
