In der Zeit der Wiener Moderne wurde die menschliche Sexualität zu einem wichtigen Diskursthema in verschiedenen Bereichen: der Literatur, der Bildenden Künste, der Philosophie und, last not least, der Psychoanalyse.
In der Seminarveranstaltung lesen wir u.a. folgende Schriften (in Gänze oder in Teilen):

- Hermann Bahr, "Die gute Schule"

- Sigmund Freund, "Drei Abhandlungen zur Sexualitätstheorie"
