Im Lektürekurs werden gemeinsam die wesentlichen Argumentationsfiguren und Thesen von C. Mouffe erschlossen. Über die Textanalyse hinaus wird der wissenschaftsbiografische Hintergrund von C. Mouffe erörtert. Sodann werden wesentliche Referenzautoren der Argumentation, so etwa Carl Schmitt oder Ulrich Beck, in gemeinsamer Lektüre erschlossen. Ziel ist es, die Argumentation von Mouffe in die breitere Debatte um Kosmopolitanismus einzuordnen.
