Ziel dieser Veranstaltung ist zunächst, zum Thema 'Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt' eine eigene Fragestellungen (Hypothesen) zu erarbeiten. Diese sollen dann anhand aktueller Daten mit bekannten Methoden der statistischen Datenanalyse empirisch überprüft werden. Dabei stehen methodische und statistische Aspekte im Mittelpunkt. Zur Sprache kommen deshalb sowohl statistische Methoden und Strategien der Operationalisierung theoretischer Konzepte sowie deren Qualitätsprüfung als auch statistische Methoden und Strategien der Hypothesenprüfung.

Gruppen- und Plenumsarbeit.Lernziele und Kompetenzen
Die Studierenden erwerben die Kompetenz zur Operationalisierung theoretischer Konzepte, zur Qualitätsprüfung solcher Operationalisierungen sowie zur systematischen, differenzierten und integrierten Datenanalyse.
