Please note that this course will be a synchronous online course. All lessons will be given using Zoom and Lernrnraum+.
What is a language without words? Ever have the feeling that you are at a loss for
words? You know what you want to say, but you’re missing a few essential words to
complete the thought - leaving you and those you are communicating with either
confused of simply unsatisfied.
Through a variety of activities and approaches, this course focuses on helping its
participants build their general active and passive vocabulary in order to enable better
communication. While vocabulary is the main focus of the class, learning is
contextualized within communicative exercises and activities, thus providing an
environment for practicing general English communication skills at the intermediate
level as well.
