Die Veranstaltung befasst sich mit zentralen Bereichen und Fragestellungen der schulischen und außerschulischen Literaturvermittlung. Bei der außerschulischen Vermittlung wird es um die Akteure der literarischen Kommunikation gehen, um Literatur als Ware und Formen der institutionellen und medialen Literaturvermittlung. Die schulische Literaturvermittlung wird es mit grundlegenden Fragen der Literaturdidaktik zu tun haben, die vom Problem der Kanonbildung bis zu den historischen Wurzeln des Deutschunterrichts reichen. Zudem wird auch das Potential, dass der Film als Gegenstand für den Literaturunterricht hat, aufgezeigt.

Teilnahmevorraussetzung ist die aktive Teilnahme, nachgewiesen durch Mitarbeit in einer Kleingruppe, die eine Sitzung vorbereiten wird.
