Eine gleichberechtigte soziale Teilhabe von Menschen mit Behinderungen ist nach wie vor nicht gewährleistet. In diesem Seminar setzen Sie sich mit verschiedene Definitionen von Behinderungen, rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen sowie mit Einrichtungen der Behindertenhilfe auseinander. Lebenslagen von Menschen mit verschiedenen Behinderungen (z.B. Körper-, Seh-, Hörbehinderungen, chronische Erkrankungen sowie so genannte geistige Behinderungen oder psychische Erkrankungen) werden im Hinblick auf Diskriminierungen und strukturelle Gewalt sowie in Bezug auf interpersonale Gewalt thematisiert. Aufgrund ihrer doppelten Diskriminierung wird insbesondere die Lebenssituation von Frauen mit Behinderungen in den Fokus gerückt. Forderungen und Umsetzungen von Inklusion und ihre Bedeutung für pädagogische Organisationen einschließlich des Beratungssektors werden diskutiert.
