In this class we'll look with a lot of detail at phonetics and English phonology. This means that you have dig up your materials from Introduction to Linguistics I. One important aspect of this class is transcription work. In addition, we'll look at phonotactic differences between Standard American English and Received Pronunciation. The objective for this class is that you can work on/improve your English pronunciation, understand it as well English spelling better.
