Der Lehrplan Deutsch (2008) fordert die Entwicklung einer Lesekultur, in der Kinder Lesen als eine bereichernde Daseinsfunktion erfahren. Dies geschieht z.B. durch Vorlesen, freie Lesezeiten und Lesenächte, aber natürlich auch durch die unterrichtliche Bearbeitung von Kinderbüchern.
Im Seminar werden zunächst Ergebnisse der Lesesozialisationsforschung, didaktische Ansätze und methodische Konzepte gesichtet. Auf dieser Grundlage erarbeiten die SeminarteilnehmerInnen exemplarisch Unterrichtsvorhaben zu einem Kinderbuch.
