Die Studierenden können nach Teilnahme an dem Seminar \"Rotes Auge I\":

die Unterscheidung von viraler und bakterieller Bindehautentzündung sowie

die Inspektion des Auges mit typischem Befund und Palpation der Kopflymphknoten und

die pharmakologischen Grundprinzipien der Therapie von Herpes-simplex- und Varizella-Zoster Infektionen mit ihren Arzneistoffen erklären.

Sie können zudem:

die Abgrenzung zum Hyposphagma erkennen

die Therapie der Konjunktivitis (benetzende Augentropfen, antibiotische Augentropfen) und Keratitis kennen und erläutern

eine akut eitrige Bindehautentzündung als Notfall einordnen,

präventive Maßnahmen nennen, die Adenoviren Meldepflicht und Kontagiosität kennen sowie

Kontaktlinsen als Auslöser einer Keratitis nennen.

Außerdem muss die Pathophysiologie eines Glaukomanfalls bekannt sein und ein Glaukomanfall als solcher mit seiner Symptomatik erkannt werden. Die wichtigsten diagnostischen und therapeutischen Schritte müssen bekannt sein, da sonst eine Erblindung innerhalb von 24 Stunden droht.

  • konjunktivale Ursachen für das Leitsymptom \"rotes Auge\" (z. B. Konjunktivitis, Pterygium, Hyposphagma)
  • corneale Ursachen für das Leitsymptom \"rotes Auge\" (z. B. Keratitis (Viral, bakteriell), Ulcus)
  • Glaukomanfall
