Synopsis: In this Seminar we will focus on modelling and animating the verbal and non-verbal behavior of Conversational Agents. Nonverbal behavior might also include emotional expressive features. The goal of the seminar is for the participants to practically engage in the scientific creation of visual behaviour required for modelling convincing virtual humans.
Prerequisites: The seminar is supposed to be practically oriented. The students should be capable of programming in Java (or a similar language) and/or a basic understanding of 3D Models, their design and animation. Although necessary skills will be taught in the seminar, the students are expected to work themselves into used tools to the level required for the task.
