205031 Niedere Eukaryoten als biochemische und molekularbiologische Modellorganismen (S) (SoSe 2018)

Niedere eukaryotische Organismen dienen oft als Modellorganismen für komplexe Fragestellungen, die sonst nicht oder nur schwer an höheren Eukaryoten bearbeitet werden können. In dem Seminar werden Abhandlungen interessanter neuer Veröffentlichungen auf dem Gebiet der niederen Eukaryoten, wie z.B. der Algen und Pilze (Hefe), vorgestellt und diskutiert. Auch werden moderne biochemische und molekularbiologische Methoden erörtert, die bei niederen Eukaryoten angewandt werden bzw. auf diese prinzipiell übertragbar sind. Zudem sollen auch aktuelle Fragestellungen und Ergebnisse aus den am Seminar beteiligten Arbeitsgruppen besprochen werden. Das Seminar ist offen für alle interessierten Studierenden und Doktoranden.
