Im Rahmen des Seminars Soziolinguistik werden wir uns den komplexen Zusammenhängen zwischen Sprache und Gesellschaft widmen. Darunter fallen beispielsweise Sprachgebrauch und sprachliche Variation in Relation zu sozialer Ungleichheit, Mehrsprachigkeit, Geschlecht, Region und digitalen Medien. Dabei werden wir sowohl theoretische Konzepte als auch empirische Forschungsergebnisse kennenlernen und kritisch diskutieren.

Das Seminar ermöglicht es Ihnen, Sprache als soziales Phänomen zu analysieren und die Auswirkungen verschiedener Faktoren auf den Sprachgebrauch zu untersuchen. Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, eigene Forschungsfragen zu entwickeln und diese im Rahmen einer Seminararbeit zu bearbeiten.
