In diesem Seminar wollen wir untersuchen, wie die Autoren bestimmte historische Ereignisse darstellen. Dabei soll das Augenmerk auf griechischen Vorgängern, die Umstände (persönlich wie historisch) des Abfassens und auf der Repräsentation berühmter Persönlichkeiten, wie z.B. Marius, Sulla, Pompeius, Caesar, liegen.
Zur Vorbereitung empfehle ich dringend, das Wissen über die Zeit von Marius bis Caesars Tod aufzufrischen.
Meine persönliche Buchempfehlung (ohne Zwang!), da sehr gut recherchiert und packend geschrieben: Tom Holland: Alea iacta est (englischer Originaltitel: Rubicon).
