Um Philosophieunterricht möglichst abwechslungsreich und gleichzeitig schülerorientiert zu gestalten, wird in diesem Seminar der Fokus darauf liegen, einen breiten Medien-Fundus zu erarbeiten, mit dem qualifiziert Unterrichtsstunden geplant werden können. So bietet das Medium Film zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, grundlegende philosophische Positionen zu erarbeiten und kritisch zu reflektieren. Dabei wird untersucht werden, inwiefern Film und Philosophie sich zu einer eigenen, gemeinsamen Erfahrungsweise des Denkens verbinden können.
Gleichzeitig werden klassische Medien des Philosophieunterrichts, wie bspw. Texte, nicht für obsolet erklärt, sondern hinsichtlich ihrer spezifischen Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Verbund mit anderen Medien erarbeitet.
Das Seminar bietet neben einer theoretischen Fundierung und Reflexion des Philosophierens mit Filmen die Möglichkeit, Unterrichtsstunden in Gruppen zu planen und im Seminar durchzuführen.
