Die Etablierung des Web 2.0 liefert grundlegende und kleinteilige sozio-technische Innovationen sowie diskursiver Praktiken,die geeignet sind, um die vielfältigen politisch-administrativen und organisationsbezogenen Informations-, Kommunikations-, und Entscheidungsformen zu virtualisieren. Online-Dialoge können bestehende Aktionsformen medienübergreifend ergänzen, ablösen oder emergente Diskursformen hervorbringen. Das Mitmach-Web ist ein spannendes Experimentierfeld für die Überarbeitung bestehender und die Entwicklung neuer Institutionen, das nicht nur Informatikern und Start-ups überlassen, sondern auch von Soziologen und Soziologinnen gestaltet werden sollte.
