Wie kann eine Schule den Ganztagsbetrieb entwickeln? Um diese Frage beantworten zu können, werden uns im Seminar insbesondere die folgenden beschäftigen:
- Warum Ganztagsschule? Bildungspolitische, bildungstheoretische und lerntheoretische Argumente.
- Welche Formen der Ganztagsschule gibt es?
- Welche Schritte sind für die Entwicklung eines Ganztagskonzepts grundlegend?
- Welche Besonderheiten sind dabei für die Grundschule bzw. für die weiterführenden Schulen zu beachten?
- Welche internationalen Modelle zum Ganztagsschulkonzept könnten für das deutsche Schulsystem als Vorlage dienen?
Grundlagenliteratur wird durch einen Reader bereitgestellt. Darüber hinaus wird weiterführende Literatur im Seminar genannt.
Das Konzept der Veranstaltung sieht vor, dass sich innerhalb des Seminars Gruppen von Studierenden zusammenfinden, die sich jeweils schwerpunktmäßig mit einer der oben genannten Fragen auseinandersetzen und ihre Ergebnisse im Plenum vorstellen.
