Ist "Methoden lernen" auch im Geschichtsunterricht mehr als nur ein Schlagwort? Diese Frage führt im Zeichen der großen Schlagworte der Zeit zu der Überlegung, wie die Lernstruktur des Faches Geschichte aussieht, wo seine wesentlichen unersetzlichen Lernleistungen liegen. Ist der chronologische Durchgang durch die Geschichte unersetzlich oder sollte der Methodenorientierung als alternatives Konzept eine größere Chance eingeräumt werden?
Solche Überlegungen dienen der Vorbereitung auf das Praktikum. Elemente des Unterrichtens wie die "neue Generation" der Schulbücher, Projektunterricht oder außerschulische Lernorte werden in das Seminar einbezogen.
