Für den Einsatz von Musik im Fremdsprachenunterricht gibt es eine Vielfalt an Gründen:

  • Motivation der LernerInnen
  • Vermittlung von Landeskunde
  • rezeptive und produktive Spracharbeit (inkl. Ausspracheschulung) etc.

Nach der Behandlung und Diskussion von Einsatzmöglichkeiten insbesondere von Liedern im DaF-Unterricht (Lernziele, Phasierung etc.) und einem kurzen Blick auf die Arbeit mit Musik in DaF-Lehrwerken beschäftigen wir uns mit der Frage, wozu sich welche Musikstile und Gattungen besonders gut im Unterricht verwenden lassen.

Die Überleitung zum Thema Kurzfilm, dem umfangreichsten Teil des Seminars, bildet die kurze Beschäftigung mit den Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Musikvideoclips, die in Form von eigenen Didaktisierungen umgesetzt werden. Der Einführung in die Filmanalyse und in die Arbeit mit Kurzfilmen im DaF-Unterricht - v.a. unter sprachproduktiven Aspekten - folgt die Konzipierung und Erstellung eines eigenen Kurzfilms von ca. 3-15min.

Bibliography

Einschlägige Literatur sowie Musik- und Kurzfilmsammlungen werden im Seminar vorgestellt.
