Die BGHS beteiligt sich am Science-Festival GENIALE 2017 (18. bis 26. August) und will dort die Vielfalt der BGHS-Forschungsthemen einem interessierten Publikum vorstellen. Promovierende der BGHS haben die Gelegenheit, im Rahmen der GENIALE-Hochschultage (22./23. August 2017) ForscherInnen-Workshops für Kinder und Jugendliche anzubieten. Das Seminarangebot richtet sich an alle, die Spaß haben, Ideen für Workshops in Anlehnung an das eigene Dissertationsprojekt zu entwickeln.
Ausgehend von einer Kurzinfo des geplanten ForscherInnenworkshops, die bis Ende Februar 2017 erarbeitet werden soll, dient ein Treffen im Mai der Vorbereitung des Workshops selbst. Die Durchführung der Workshops findet dann im Rahmen der GENIALE-Hochschultage am 22. und 23. August 2017 statt.
Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, Wissenschaft auf alternative Weise einem interessierten Publikum (Kinder und Jugendliche) zu kommunizieren und Kompetenzen zu erwerben, Veranstaltungen (im Bereich der Wissenskommunikation) zu planen und durchzuführen.
