In den letzten 30 bis 40 Jahren haben sich die Zeitstrukturen für Kinder rasant verändert. Stärker als jemals zuvor leben auch schon Grundschulkinder mit einem Terminkalender:
Schule und Freizeit, die Termine der Eltern und die Sendungen des Fernsehens ? all das wird von der Uhr bestimmt. Der Religionsunterricht kann - zusammen mit anderen Fächern - das Erleben der Zeit bewusst machen. Dazu gehören Zeiten der Stille, sinnvolle Pausen, Feste und Feiern wie auch Lernzeiten außerhalb des üblichen Stunden-Taktes.
In der Veranstaltung sollen Vorschläge und Praxismaterialien für eine solch produktive Verlangsamung des Lernens im Religionsunterricht vorgestellt, ausprobiert und reflektiert werden.
