In der Veranstaltung wird in theoretische und empirische Ansätze der Migrationssoziologie eingeführt. Dabei werden sowohl klassische Migrationstheorien als auch Zugänge zu aktuellen Migrationsphänomenen behandelt. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Auseinandersetzung mit den Begriffen Migration, Integration und Transnationalisierung.
