Welche zentralen Prozesse und Phänomene prägten das 20. Jahrhundert? Der Lektürekurs diskutiert z.B. Probleme wie Gewalt, die Spannung zwischen demokratischen und autoritären Gesellschaften, die Prozesse von Kolonisierung und Entkolonisierung oder den Aufstieg und Fall von Utopien. Das soll durch die gemeinsame Lektüre von Monographien oder Teilen von Monographien erfolgen. Vgl. ekvv für die einzelnen Termine der Blockveranstaltung.
