In der Ringvorlesung wird mit dem thematischen Fokus "Gender-Care-Relations" ein gegenwärtig viel diskutiertes Feld der Geschlechterforschung fokussiert, das gleichzeitig auch unterschiedlich tradierte Perspektiven aufweist. Im Rahmen von Vorträgen zentraler Vertreter:innen des deutschsprachigen Raums und anhand von Textlektüre wird die Frage interdisziplinärer Forschungspraxis im Feld der Gender-Care-Forschung aufgeworfen.
