Short Bio:
My name is Anne Engelhardt and I have been an academic co-worker in the Koddenbrock / international relations and political economy research group since April 2026. My research interests are theories of international political economy with a focus on North-South relations, sociology of work, labour protection and working conditions, labour and legal geography, spatialised colonial relations and racialised and gendered division of labour, conflicts over peace politics, theories of social reproduction, body politics and gender relations, social movements and (transnational) trade unions as well as critical logistics and infrastructure research.
I am currently working on my habilitation project on "Global Steel Supply Chains in times of militarisation: Intersecting rhythms of bodies, regulations, and conflicts" with a focus on steel production for the maritime transport sector.
