Competencies

  • Befähigung, eine tragfähige und relevante Fragestellung zu einem Thema der Geschichte Frankreichs oder der frankophonen Länder / Spaniens oder Lateinamerikas im Anschluss an die jeweilige Forschungsdiskussion zu entwickeln
  • Befähigung zur eigenständigen, theoriegeleiteten Analyse des gewählten Themas der Geschichte Frankreichs oder der frankophonen Länder / Spaniens oder Lateinamerikas und zur angemessenen Kontextualisierung im Epochen- und Sachzusammenhang
  • Im vorgegebenen Rahmen selbständige Recherche von Quellen und Forschungsliteratur und kritischer Umgang mit beidem
  • Fähigkeit zur inhaltlichen, sprachlich und formal adäquaten Präsentation, kritischen Erörterung und Diskussion der Ergebnisse in schriftlicher und mündlicher Form im Seminar
  • Fähigkeit zur kritischen Reflexion der Relevanz und des Analyseweges in mündlicher und schriftlicher Form

Content of teaching

Die Studierenden wählen das Hauptmodul aus einem der Epochenbereiche Mittelalter/Frühe Neuzeit oder Moderne aus.

Die beiden Veranstaltungen des Hauptmoduls werden von einem oder zwei Lehrenden angeboten. "Historische Orientierung" und "Seminar" sind eng aufeinander bezogen und werden im selben Semester besucht. Beide Veranstaltungen können zu einem vierstündigen Block verschmolzen und dann konsekutiv angelegt werden (etwa: Vorlesung - Lektüre - Präsentationen).

Die "Historische Orientierung" vermittelt in variabler Form (Vorlesungselemente, gemeinsame Lektüre von Quellen und Forschungsliteratur, angeleitetes Selbststudium) vertieftes problem- und forschungsorientiertes Kontextwissen zum Thema des "Seminars".

Im "Seminar" werden Einzelthemen oder komplexere historische Sachverhalte mit Bezug auf grundlegende und aktuelle Forschungsdiskussionen anhand einschlägiger Quellen und Forschungsliteratur auf der Basis von Präsentationen der Studierenden erörtert.

Recommended previous knowledge

Erfolgreicher Abschluss der Module der fachlichen Basis im Fach Geschichte sowie Erfüllung der epochen- und themenspezifischen Sprachvoraussetzungen in Kern- und Nebenfach.

Explanation regarding the elements of the module

Historische Orientierung und Seminar stehen in einem engen inhaltlichen Zusammenhang und werden als Pakete im ekvv ausgewiesen. Da sich die Modulprüfung auf beide Veranstaltungen bezieht, ist der Besuch der zusammengehörigen Lehrveranstaltungen Voraussetzung für das erfolgreiche Absolvieren der Modulprüfung.

Schriftliche Hausarbeit im Umfang von 20-25 Seiten, die sich auf die Inhalte von Seminar und Historischer Orientierung bezieht. Die Modulprüfung wird vom Lehrenden des Seminars abgenommen.
