Competencies

Grundkenntnisse der Toxikologie und Kenntnisse in Gefahrstoffkunde werden erworben. Darüber hinaus wird bei Bestehen des gesamten Moduls der Sachkundenachweis gemäß § 5 der Chemikalien-Verbotsverordnung erworben.

Content of teaching

Im Rahmen des Moduls werden die Themen Gefahrstoffkunde, Toxizität von Chemikalien, Toxikokinetik, Metabolismus und Toxikodynamik überblicksartig und an Fallbeispielen behandelt. Weitere Themen sind Kanzerogenese durch Chemikalien, sowie die Bedeutung von Chemikalien in der Reproduktionstoxikologie und Ökotoxikologie. Weiterhin werden auch die Bereiche Chemikalienrecht und die Chemikalienverbotsverordnung diskutiert.

Notwendigkeit von zwei Modulteilprüfungen:
Aus organisatorischen Gründen finden die Vorlesungen als Blockveranstaltungen mit großer zeitlicher Differenz statt. Daher ist es sinnvoll, den Kompetenzerwerb jeweils direkt nach den Veranstaltungen abzuprüfen.
